Inspired by wellness and wholesome cooking, Spoon and Stem uses fresh, locally produced ingredients to create dishes inspired by global cuisine. I source my ingredients responsibly, and look for locally produced fruit and veg, and imported ingredients with an organic certification. Our menu includes fresh salads, breakfast smoothie bowls, and a line of coconut and nut spreads.
Spoon and Stem was started as a food blog in 2005 in my Manhattan kitchen. I celebrated cooking dishes mostly inspired by my Italian-American heritage, and was influenced by the dynamic food culture of New York City. After a few years, I closed the blog to focus on travel.
Now (mostly) settled in East London, my cooking is inspired by growing up in America, with north-eastern and southern influences, as well as time spent studying and living in Spain, Italy, and Portugal.
